Description
The C-TEC Fire Alarm Mains Isolator Keyswitch with LED and Backbox – Red (BF326/RSL) is a secure, lockable mains isolator designed for use with fire alarm control panels. This red surface-mounted fire alarm keyswitch provides controlled switching of the mains supply and is designed to meet the requirements of BS 5839-1, making it a practical choice for fire alarm systems where safe and controlled mains isolation is required.
Featuring a double-pole switch, integrated green LED indicator and supplied surface-mounting back box, the C-TEC BF326/RSL provides clear indication of the switch status while helping authorised personnel safely control the fire alarm panel’s mains supply. The keyswitch is lockable and supplied with a dedicated C-TEC key, with the special key intended to be available only to the responsible person.
The C-TEC BF326/RSL mains isolator is fitted with a 5A fuse and can accommodate 1 x 2.5mm² or 2 x 1.5mm² cable arrangements. Its low-profile isolator mechanism and supplied back box provide space for fire-rated cable and surface glanding. Independently tested to relevant insulation and isolation requirements of IEC/EN 60669, this C-TEC fire alarm accessory is well suited to professional fire alarm applications, maintenance and controlled mains isolation.
