Description

The C-TEC CAST Mini I/O Module (CA734) is a compact addressable input/output interface designed for use with compatible C-TEC CAST fire alarm systems. This versatile module combines a monitored input with a volt-free changeover relay output, allowing external equipment and systems to be interfaced with a CAST addressable fire alarm panel. Its compact format makes it particularly suitable for applications where space is limited.

The CA734 provides a 1A @ 30V DC volt-free changeover relay, with the capability of switching up to 0.3A @ 125V AC. The monitored input can be configured to support a normally-open switch or a zone monitor, while the module can be used for applications such as triggering roller shutters, door locking mechanisms, gas shut-off valves and smoke vents. An onboard short-circuit loop isolator provides additional system resilience.

Designed for professional fire alarm applications, the C-TEC CA734 CAST Mini I/O Module operates from the CAST addressable loop and is compatible with C-TEC XFP and ZFP CAST fire alarm panels. The unit features a compact 65 x 65 x 20mm enclosure, low quiescent current and multiple mounting options. It is certified to relevant EN54 standards, including EN54-17 and EN54-18, making it a practical choice for expanding and interfacing CAST addressable fire alarm systems.
