Texecom Ricochet Capture D20-W Wireless Dual Tech PIR (GDC-0006)

Description

Introducing the next generation of wireless security, Texecom’s Ricochet mesh network offers industry leading wireless technology. Ricochet enabled wireless devices receive and repeat wireless transmissions from other devices. The size, scalability and range of the entire system are extended as wireless signalling is no longer limited by point-to-point communications.

The transmission range of a Ricochet enabled wireless system is fantastic, with multiple devices capable of relaying messages to and from even the most remote locations in a building. The Texecom Ricochet has a huge range of devices and add ons. With safety, security and home automation in mind, a truly comprehensive system can be achieved.

A security system is only as good as its ability to detect. Your reputation, your business, your future, and your customers’ wellbeing, all depends on making the right choice of motion detection. Texecom’s new range of motion detectors, Capture, is our highest performing, most reliable, easiest to install range of detectors, ever. Grade 2 wireless wall mount detectors offer a choice of 15m PIR, 20m quad PIR or 20m dual technology devices. Texecom’s award-winning Ricochet® mesh technology provides commercial grade wireless performance.

Dual Technology Detectors are ideal for more hostile environments such as conservatories or garages. The use of a PIR and Microwave technology in one means that false alarms are reduced and the detector can maintain intruder catch performance even when the environment experiences changes in temperature.

Dual technology detection is now available in wireless form due to Ricochet capabilities on Premier Elite control panels and wireless expanders. Ricochet technology includes advanced power management, enabling dual technology detectors to be used without compromising battery performance.
