Description
The C-TEC CAST CA433A/DR/65 Wall Sounder VAD is a high-output, addressable fire alarm sounder and visual alarm device designed for use with C-TEC CAST protocol addressable fire alarm systems. Supplied in a red enclosure with a deep base, this weatherproof CAST VAD combines a powerful audible alarm with high-visibility visual signalling, making it an ideal choice for applications where both sound and visual fire alarm notification are required. The device provides W-2.75-9 rated light distribution and is also rated as a W-4-4 VAD.
Designed for dependable fire alarm notification, the CA433A/DR/65 delivers a high sound output of up to 103dB(A) at 1 metre, with selectable volume levels and multiple selectable tones. Its integrated short-circuit loop isolator helps provide additional resilience within a CAST addressable fire alarm loop, while the group addressing facility allows multiple devices to operate together. The device operates on the CAST protocol and supports flexible programming through compatible C-TEC CAST fire alarm panels.
The IP55-rated C-TEC CAST weatherproof VAD is particularly suited to applications where enhanced environmental protection is required, including suitable outdoor and demanding areas. An optional O-ring enables IP65C compliance, providing additional protection against dust and water ingress. With its robust construction, red finish, deep base and combined audible/visual alarm functionality, the C-TEC CA433A/DR/65 is a practical solution for commercial, industrial and other fire alarm applications requiring reliable CAST-compatible notification.
