The GJD Opal Elite PIR White (GJD023) is a high-performance passive infrared detector designed for effective outdoor security monitoring. With an adjustable detection range of 10 to 35 metres, it provides reliable motion detection, working seamlessly with GJD’s security lighting controllers, CCTV systems, and intruder alarms. Its discreet white housing ensures it blends effortlessly into various environments, making it an ideal choice for both residential and commercial applications.

Versatile and Reliable Detection
This external PIR detector offers a 90-degree detection angle with a maximum coverage of 35m x 30m, ensuring wide-area surveillance. Its 36-zone Fresnel lens enhances detection accuracy, and included masking tape allows precise customisation of the monitored area. The detector also features seven operating modes, enabling users to configure different relay outputs to suit specific security needs.

Easy Installation and Flexible Positioning
Designed with flexibility in mind, the Opal Elite PIR features an adjustable 180-degree pan and 90-degree tilt, making it easy to align with your preferred detection area. The unit can be installed at heights of up to 6 metres, with an optimal installation height of 3 metres for best performance.

Smart Security Integration
When connected to GJD’s security lighting controllers, the Opal Elite can trigger an audible warning when movement is detected, providing an effective deterrent against potential intruders. Additionally, it can automatically activate perimeter lighting, enhancing security and visibility around your property.

Robust and Weatherproof Design
Constructed from high-impact ABS material, the Opal Elite PIR is built to withstand harsh environments. It features an IP55 weatherproof rating, ensuring durability in extreme weather conditions, with an operational temperature range of -20ºC to +55ºC. The unit’s electronics are conformally coated for increased reliability in challenging environments.
